More of Everything You Want...

Updated: Jul 24, 2023

Taking up the topic of Gratitude this month to see the beauty of a topic we can certainly enjoy more of has now become a daily practice for me.

The wonderful effects of having a Gratitude Practice in the first place is a must in terms of nurturing an attitude that is essential to having more happiness, more joy & more fulfilment in life. When we reserve it only for one time each year or special occasions, we miss out on all the benefits it creates while we are in a state of Gratitude more often than simply embracing a mere period in which to show some gratitude.

Did you know that science has found that people who practice Gratitude daily had an immediate shift in focus when something negative happened in their lives.

Now it take some real effort to move from a negative state of mind into a more positive state when life throws things your way & make it difficult to feel a little happier.

When we use our innate ability to develop our Positive Mindset as a gift to ourselves & the world, our abilities become part of our natural Whole Human Wellness state & it continues to develop beyond the initial moment of Gratitude.

What if we are open to the inner-understanding of what long-term effects Gratitude will have on our outcomes before we even reached them. Don't you think it would be worth investing our time in?

Gratitude is a powerful force that can have a significant impact on our lives

If we are open to the inner-understanding of what long-term effects Gratitude will have on our outcomes before we even reach them, we can reap its benefits in the long-run. Often, we get caught up in the struggle of uncertainty, wondering if we could ever be truly happy or find joy.

However, investing short morning practices into something that will benefit us in the long-run, far outweigh the struggle of trying to get through the murkiness of uncertainty. With a little Gratitude practice we can open our hearts to achieve a more positive outlook on life.

When we are more grateful for what we have, it shifts our focus from what we lack to see the good in the things we already have. This shift can help us feel more content with our lives so that we can build up resilience to change what needs to changed to receive even greater happiness & joy no matter what happens.

Additionally, bringing in a creative practise like a quick little Sketchbook Session with Gratitude as the topic, can deeply increase your ability to cope with challenges because you are making time to remove blockages & de-stress both sides of your mind!

When we combine these we tend to be happier, more grateful for our lives as we acknowledge life with optimism & a hopeful effort that spills over into our future.

"The time I invested in doing a practise with a journal in hand has showed me so much to be grateful for. And now that Gratitude is a small but significant daily practice, it feels like I can step towards achieving a more fulfilled life. It really helped me focus on something positive and to be more resilient in the face of challenges. Wow Tanya, I never knew how much a practice like this would benefit my life. Thank you again."

We are all playing in our Sketchbooks in different ways, join us in the Sketchbook Journal Facebook Group

With a couple of video's up, we get to play along while listening to the inner guidance of what a Gratitude Practice can look like.

By cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude I've been shown how many fascinating things have come into my own life thus far. For years now, I've added this practice into my mornings as part of my Daily Practices because I saw how it taught me to lean into what I wanted more of. I've noticed how seemingly innocently a negative thing can creeps in & before I know it my day was turned upside down because of it? With a little time & a creative practice like this Sketchbook habit, that negative state was so much easier to break out of.

Yet a simple moment of reflection at sunrise or sunset can show you how even a standing glance towards the warmth of the Sun can be turned into a moment of Gratitude for you to extract what you need to find balance.

If you've been following along with the month of Gratitude, why not share your thoughts in the Sketchbook Journal Group & tell share what you are Grateful for today & how that has changed your life & the lives of others.

Until next time Creative Hearts

Much Love
